ADSI – The Italian Historic Houses Association, was born in Rome on March 4, 1977 following the example of similar associations already operating in other European countries. This important association, which since 38 years has been to facilitate the preservation, enhancement and management of historic houses, is built through the efforts and passion of some owners faithful custodians of what you can undoubtedly define the most important historical and artistic heritage worldwide.
In Italy, often credited with 60% of the world’s cultural heritage, the historical and artistic heritage of architecture, is an essential part of the cultural identity. The preservation of this heritage, a true memory of the past, requires that it be passed on to future generations through the protection and enhancement of buildings and historic gardens, protecting them from degradation and destruction.
